Washington, D.C. (March 1, 2024) – Mark your calendars and dust off your neon legwarmers! Capital Pride has announced its theme for 2024, and it's a trip back to a time of bold colors, big hair, and even bigger change: Totally Radical!
This year's theme pays homage to the vibrant LGBTQ+ activism of the 1980s and 1990s. "During those decades, our community showed up, spoke up, ACTed UP, and created a TOTALLY RADICAL America!" said the Capital Pride Alliance in a statement.
The announcement was made at the organization's annual Pride Reveal event, held at PennSocial on February 29th.
