Mister Days Sports Rock Cafe Returns to Clarendon!

The iconic Mister Days Sports Rock Cafe is making a comeback to the Clarendon neighborhood, just five years after its closure.

The original Mister Days opened its doors in 1977, south of Dupont Circle in D.C., serving up nothing but roast beef sandwiches. Over the years, it moved locations and expanded its offerings, eventually transforming into the Clarendon staple we all know and love.

The new Mister Days, led by the ever-enthusiastic Bobby Lee, is expected to open its doors in May at 1101 N. Highland Street, practically across the street from its previous location.

Lee isn't just giving us nostalgia, though. He promises a state-of-the-art sports viewing experience, complete with a "huge screen that may be the biggest one in Northern Virginia." Sounds like the perfect place to catch all the upcoming games with friends.

But Mister Days isn't just about sports. Remember the legendary "Rally in the Alley" events? Lee assures us that the new location will have a dedicated section called "The Alley," hinting at the return of those outdoor dance parties.

Of course, no Mister Days experience is complete without delicious food. Lee says the menu will feature "great bar food" alongside some exciting new additions.

So, whether you're a longtime Mister Days fan or just looking for a new spot to catch a game, eat some wings, and dance the night away, mark your calendars! The wait is almost over, and Clarendon is about to get a whole lot livelier.
