A New French Bistro is Coming to Arlington

Get Ready for The Angie

Arlington, Virginia, is about to get a taste of French-inspired cuisine. The Angie, a new bistro from the team behind the popular Balos in Dupont Circle, is set to open in Ballston. This exciting new restaurant will offer a relaxed dining experience with a focus on fresh, high-quality food and drink.

What to Expect

The Angie will feature a spacious dining room with operable windows that open up to the outdoors, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The menu will offer a variety of traditional European dishes with a modern twist, including:

  • Ricotta ravioli with Kalamata olives and basil oil
  • Garlic and butter-crusted lobster frites
  • Roasted Dover sole

In addition to the delicious food, The Angie will also have a full bar, lounge, and a barista bar for those who enjoy a morning coffee.

The Team Behind The Angie

The team behind The Angie is the same group that brought Balos to Dupont Circle. Stefanos Vouvoudakis, Tom Tsiplakos, and Joe Ragonese are all experienced restaurateurs with a passion for great food and drink. Ragonese brings a wealth of experience from the NYC restaurant scene, while Vouvoudakis and Tsiplakos are known for their successful coffee shops, ForFive Coffee.

Opening Date

The Angie is scheduled to open in spring 2025. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates as the opening date approaches.
